The Wine Cellar is located midway between Austin and San Antonio in the heart of beautiful downtown San Marcos, Texas. We encourage you to visit us. Sit a bit and sip on a nice glass of wine. Grab a big Hand-cut Ribeye or Filet Mignon. Enjoy a beer. Entertain yourself and your friends with our great food and atmosphere.

Try our Smoked Duck w/Hashbrowns, Personal Sized Artisanal Pizzas, juicy Pork or Beef Ribs, homemade Soups and unique Salads. And - not to brag, but - we have the Best Chicken Salad You've Ever Had, as well as the most authentic Shepherds' Pie this side of Ireland.

If you're in a rush, this is not the place for you, but if you're tired of eating bad food in a hurry and forgetting what you ate before you've even left the restaurant, come see us, and leave the Rolaids at home.

The Wine Cellar is also a center for art, both static and performance, as we provide a free Readers' Theater the fourth Sunday of each Month, and are currently exhibiting the work of local artists  Jessica Wolpman and Jeb Thomas.
